Lots of new species in the galleries

Dear visitors,

in the past month I've added lots of new species to the galleries like
e.g. Small Tortoiseshell, Pale Tussock, Small Copper, Musk Beetle, Painted Lady, Common Blue, Orange Hawkweed, Large Skipper, Tansy Ragwort, Cinnabar Moth, Mallow, Meadow Plant Bug, Spring Harvester.
And some photos of my sun, born in May 09, : Baby-Photos :-)

Updates Sektion Online

This is the first Update-Message. From now on we will inform you about new additions or changes at digital-nature-photography.com.

So the first entry is : UPDATES ARE ONLINE :-)

Entry from 2008.03.29 :

Link-Structures

As you might have noticed, I made lots of changes within the link structures. From now on there will appear links within the text of the articles, if there is another article at this website, where are more information about the linked words.
These internal links will be marked with a green arrow, like this :
Insect-Photography

But even more has changed : Digital-nature-Photography has a link database with includes outgoing links. So if there are information at other websites, there will be automatically created outgoing links. These external links will be marked with a red arrow like this :
Selfhtml.org, Birdforum etc...

And from now on, the galleries are linked within the articles. So as you can see, if I use names of the species, like bees or hawfinch or deer, you can directly get to the galleries of the species by clicking at the names. These gallery-links are marked with two squares, as you can see.

Hope these links will make my website more WEB-like like a spiderweb and much faster to find articles and picture-galleries.

Lots Of Changes

Dear Visitors,

as you might have recognized, we've done lots of changes in the Digital-Nature-Photography.com code. So from now on this website programmed in XHTML Strict V1.0. The old code was from 2002 and not up to date anymore. The design was made with tables, now we use DIV and stylesheets, cause almost all browser should know how to work with them now.

We apologize if some parts of the website will not be present in the next days. We're working on it !!

If you recognize any errors at Digital-Nature-Photography.com feel free to mail me, so that I can correct them.

New Species : Stock Dove

I added a new species into the birds section, the Stock Dove. It's only a photo with documentary character, but I although put it only for identification help.

Digiscoping Section

The Digiscoping-Section of the german part of this website is quite huge. So there are many articles coming soon, I just have to translate them into English.

One article about the Kowa TSN-884 scope is already online. I've also added a little gallery taken with the Kowa.

Main Menu - some changes

I did some changes in the main menue. The "Insects" button is now named as "Insects and Spiders", cause in this section you'll also find spiders. The "Plants and Trees" section is renamed by "plants", cause trees are plants ;-) of course.
The E-Mail link at the left now directly opens your mail program, and you don't have to click around to find the email adress.

There's a new section, called "Internal" where you'll find very special articles about digital-nature-photography.com like the spam-protection of the guestbook or the new link structure etc. ! At the moment this link is not available I hope I get it work the within the next days.
