"Carrion Crow With Dead Pheasant" : Carrion Crow eating a victim of mowing. In this case the victim is a pheasant. The Crows are very important scavangers, espescially for the farmers. If pieces of carrion gets into the food for cows, the cows could die because of the poison emerging from the carrion. Thanx to the carrion crwos this happens not very often. Many farmers forget this and only see the negatives of the carrion crows. - Catchwords given by photographer : Vogel Vögel Bird Birds Singvogel Singvögel Songbird Songbirds Rabe raben Rabenkrähe rabenkrähen Krähe Krähen Carrion Crow Rabenkrähe Carrion Crowa Rabenkrähen Corvus corone corone Mähopfer Fasan Fasanenhenne Phasianus colchicus Mahdopfer encyclopaedia voegel Carrion Crow-pic information Carrion Crows-photo info - Photographer : Gerd Rossen
